Ankh: Gods of Egypt is a strategy game for 2 to 5 players, with the background depicting ancient Egyptian mythology. Each player plays the role of an ancient Egyptian god, receiving donations from the people and becoming the only god of Egypt. You can build monuments, battle other gods and win more offerings!
Over time, monuments may have been associated with different gods. Mythical guardians will also join the conflict, the land of Egypt may be re-divided by camel caravans at any time, and two gods may even merge into a new god, but only one will stand out, the one and only Egyptian god. If they are not qualified, the history of Egypt will be rewritten as atheism.
For centuries, Egypt had been a polytheistic society. But now, the civilization is moving to a monotheistic religion. The gods are fighting among themselves for the veneration of the populace.
In Ankh , players take on the role of the gods of Ancient Egypt. They all fight for the adoration of the populace, building up their followers, dedicating monuments, recruit monsters to their side, and divide the desert in order to establish their dominance. In the end, only one will remain.
