Unlock an endlessly changing world! In the world of unique decks, any deck of cards is unique. Two players compete with each other to forge keys to open the secret realm of the Forge - a secret vault hidden in the artificial world composed of countless planets and civilizations. Through powerful combinations of creatures, artifacts, and abilities, battles between different decks will be a unique experience!

KeyForge is a two-player card battle game with a new concept. It is the latest work of Richard Garfield, the designer of the famous card battle game "Magic: The Gathering". It focuses on the unique deck game (Unique Deck Game).

Because of its unique deck characteristics (each deck is independent and unique), instead of spending money to build a stronger deck, how can you make good use of the combo effect of the deck in hand, or should you use it under the current situation? Choosing which force to use is more important and requires more skill from the player. Therefore, it is suitable for board game and card game players to easily get started and to compete with experienced card game players!

The player's goal is to collect amber during the game. If you collect 6 ambers, you can forge a key. The first player to forge 3 keys is the winner.

There are a total of seven forces in the game, and each deck will be composed of three random forces. Each round, players must choose to use one of their three forces, and can only use the cards of that force in that round. There is no need to pay any fees or considerations when playing cards. Players can then play cards, attack, harvest amber, or use the card's abilities. At the end of the round, the player fills up his hand with 6 cards, and then another player takes his turn.

New force: business group

The Merchant Group (Ekwidon) is a huge network of merchants who are keen on conducting transactions and various investments throughout the Crucible. They are masters of cleverly gaining an advantage in any situation. Merchant groups are found all over the Forge Realm, and they work as diplomats, arbitrators, businessmen, and even artists. Absorbing and inspiring countless cultures, welcoming talents of all species and backgrounds into their ranks.

Derivatives

A major feature of "The Wind Rises" is the "derivative creature" mechanism. Each deck will have a designed derivative creature card. All "derivative creatures" generated by card effects in the deck will use this derivative creature card as a template. When a creature token is spawned, take the top card of your deck and put it "face down" on the battlefield, just like a normal creature. However, the difference from ordinary creatures is that token creatures are represented by card backs, so there will only be one kind of token creature in each deck (because the card backs of the same deck are the same). If you want to refer to the token's values or effects, you can look at the attached creature card.

Winds of Exchange adds loads of new content for the game, and the best part is the set is already completely developed! In fact, if the algorithm was not broken, the set would already be well on its way to stores this fall. This means that when we do relaunch KeyForge in the future, Winds of Exchange will be ready to produce and hit store shelves.

In addition to a whole new batch of cards and mechanics, Winds of Exchange also introduces the game's eleventh house, the Compacts of Ekwidon. This is a mercantile house founded by the asymmetrical Getrookya, and it's all about themes of trade and exchange. Joining the Ekwidon are six returning houses, including Brobnar, Sanctum, Saurians, Star Alliance, Unfathomable, and the long-awaited return of Mars!
