Mysteries happen in Secret Lies, the second expansion for 2015's Mysterious Manor. Using their gifts, the mediums are tasked with unraveling these disturbing events, using 18 all-new story cards to provide further context as to why this ghost met such an untimely end. These new story cards replace object cards, adding a different way to play your favorite games without extending the time limit. Additionally, you'll find 42 additional Vision Cards that can be used to aid the psychic in their investigation of newly discovered suspects, locations, and objects (each one). Walk in and your seat is waiting at a table!
Mysterium: Secrets & Lies consists of six new characters, six new locations, six new items, and 18 story cards. This latter group of cards can replace the object cards in the game, with each card representing one way in which the ghost died. Now instead of trying to get each investigator to identify an object — a singular item that wouldn't have much nuance to it — the ghost must instead use the dream cards to convey the story of their demise, something far more challenging.
