The "early tenth century" was a time of adventure and exploration. Explorers discovered the mysterious island of Atlantis in the center of the ocean. Legend has it that priceless treasures are hidden on the island! After arriving in Atlantis, the explorers discovered a large number of rare treasures. Just as they were returning home with their full load, Atlantis began to sink! Who can finally return safely?
This is an exciting survival game. An island composed of 40 hexagons is slowly sinking into the ocean. Players need to safely transfer to surrounding islands before the main island finally explodes. You can either swim or use a boat to escape, but you must avoid sea snakes, whales and sharks to get to safety and do your best to protect your property and score more points.
The Escape from Atlantis expansion contains three mini-expansions: "Dolphins and Diving" and "The Giant Octopus". The expansion must be played together with the main game, while the three minor expansions can be used simultaneously.
-
5-6 player player pack — Allows the main game to be played by up to six players at the same time
-
Dolphins and diving — This expansion will make your enemies stronger, but there will be cute little dolphins to help you survive!
-
giant octopus —The giant octopus is the mortal enemy of the whale! They often attack each other, possibly hurting innocent people in the process! Whales attack boats, and octopuses eat people alive on boats and on land!
Survive: Escape from Atlantis! is a cutthroat game where players seek to evacuate their pieces from an island that is breaking up, while remembering where their highest-valued pieces are located to maximize their score.
An island made up of 40 hex-tiles is slowly sinking into the ocean (as the tiles are removed from the board). Each player controls ten people (valued from 1 to 6) that they try and move towards the safety of the surrounding islands before the main island finally blows up. Players can either swim or use boats to travel but must avoid sea serpents, whales and sharks on their way to safety.
