Railroad Legacy: Legend of the West will take you into the story of your favorite railroad games and explore the fantasy world created by Rob Daviau, Matt Leacock and Alan R. Moon. You will embark on a journey of 12 games, run your own American railroad company, and earn wealth in various adventures in the script.

At the end of the 19th century, the United States was booming, and new railroad companies competed with each other to feed the growing population. Countless merchants, officials, food and goods needed to be transported, and an intricate railway network emerged spontaneously. Thaddeus. Reeves was one of the young entrepreneurs who dreamed of connecting the entire country by railroad, and he did realize his ambition. The Reeves Railroad Company quickly established a route from the Atlantic coast all the way to Mississippi. This route made him very profitable, and the future of the company was bright. But the greedy railroad tycoons were eyeing Reeves's growing railroad empire and tried every means to get a piece of the pie.
As the years passed, the Reeves Railway Company continued to grow and thrive. On the other hand, you have just established your own railway company and are ready to join this promising industry. Of course, you still have a lot to learn, but you see endless possibilities and wealth beckoning from your new steam engine, and your newly built media network will set you apart from other emerging companies. In Ticket to Ride Legacy: Legends of the West , players embark on twelve journeys across North America as 19th century pioneers. The campaign begins on the East Coast, with players working their way to the West from one adventure to the next, meeting challenges along the way. As in Ticket to Ride , completing your tickets will remain your primary goal, but you will need to develop other skills if you hope to overcome the unexpected events and your resourceful rivals. Game after game, route after route, you will continuously fill your vault with earnings . As the story progresses, you will open frontier boxes that unlock new rules, content, and many more surprises.

In the Legacy style, Legends of the West is a unique experience molded by player choices. Each player has their own role to play, allowing them to change the way the story unfolds around them. Combined with evolving mechanisms that change as the game progresses, players will have a new experience every time they gather around the board.
