You are a group of bird enthusiasts—researchers, birdwatchers, ornithologists, and collectors— You are always looking for and trying to attract the most beautiful birds to your breeding base. The addition of each bird species will enrich the bird mix in one of the habitats in your breeding base. Each habitat focuses on an important aspect of the ecological construction of the breeding base:

- Use the feeder dice tower to throw dice to get food tokens

- Use different colored egg models to simulate bird laying

- Expand your bird collection and draw from over a hundred unique exotic bird cards

At the end of the game, the player with the most points by counting bird cards, bonus cards, end-of-round goals, eggs, stored food, and the number of birds in the colony wins the game.

Accessories that can fly are becoming plastic-free
Plastic pallets printed on Soar and Expanding starting in 2022, as well as small plastic boxes, have been upgraded to custom pallets made from unbleached sugar cane. The new pallets are functionally identical to the old pallets and are actually more space-saving than the original plastic pallets. "Little plastic boxes" now they no longer have lids, but they neatly hold eggs and food tokens on the table. In addition, all plastic bird eggs have been replaced with wooden ones, which are exactly the same in appearance and function as the old version. All plastic bags are biodegradable storage bags. As a nature-themed board game, Stonemaier is responding to Eco-Friendly and environmental sustainability with practical actions.
