In this expansion of Soar, we cast our sights even further into the world, including the majesty, beauty, and diversity of Europe's birdlife.
These birds have a variety of new abilities, including "end-of-round" abilities and the ability to enhance interaction between players; some birds can occupy multiple card slots to make subsequent actions more profitable, while others can Benefit from excess hand cards/food.
These European bird cards need to be shuffled with the base game (and other future expansions) decks before they can be played.
Europe also includes an additional card box to house a growing collection of past, present and future birds.

Accessories that can fly are becoming plastic-free
Plastic pallets printed on Soar and Expanding starting in 2022, as well as small plastic boxes, have been upgraded to custom pallets made from unbleached sugar cane. The new pallets are functionally identical to the old pallets and are actually more space-saving than the original plastic pallets. "Little plastic boxes" now they no longer have lids, but they neatly hold eggs and food tokens on the table. In addition, all plastic bird eggs have been replaced with wooden ones, which are exactly the same in appearance and function as the old version. All plastic bags are biodegradable storage bags. In this first expansion to Wingspan , we increase the scope of the world to include the regal, beautiful, and varied birds of Europe. The European Expansion also includes an additional tray for storing the growing collection of birds (past, present, and future), as well as 15 purple eggs, extra food tokens, and a colorful new scorepad designed for both multi-player and single-player scoring . It's designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and features birds illustrated by Natalia Rojas and Ana Maria Martinez.
